Henry Sampers Jr. established Sampers Financial, Inc. (SFI) to provide insurance, benefits consulting, and investment solutions to businesses and the owners and executives who run them.
1993
SFI becomes a principal and member firm of PartnersFinancial, a national organization comprised of over 160 independent, like-minded professional financial advisory firms.
1999
SFI became a founding member firm of National Financial Partners (“NFP”), a premier independent financial services company serving high-net-worth individuals and the mid-sized corporate market.
2001
SFI merged with Phillip E. Goodman, Inc., an established business and estate planning firm that was founded by Phillip E. Goodman in 1974 and a member firm of PartnersFinancial since 1986.
2003
NFP is listed on the NYSE (NFP) with a market capitalization of over $1 billion.
2005
SFI joins forces with PFC Planned Financial Concepts, a family business specializing in estate planning, business succession, and retirement and benefit planning.
2009
SFI orchestrates repurchase from NFP, thereby realizing desired independence while maintaining access to institutional resources.
